Petal and Stem is a family flower shop in the Mission District, open since 2019.
Who we are
Rosa, Carmen, and two designers
Rosa Delgado opened Petal and Stem in 2019, after ten years arranging weddings on her own. She runs the shop with her sister Carmen and two part-time designers.
We stayed small on purpose. It means you talk to the person making your flowers, and we can care about every bouquet that leaves the door.
How we work
Grown close to home
We buy from local growers around Half Moon Bay and Petaluma whenever the season allows. It matters to us, and our customers can tell the difference.
We compost everything, and we do not use floral foam. Good flowers should be kind to the place they come from.
